Each memorial service is unique as each life is unique. We celebrate our departed members with music, stories, readings, and usually without liturgy (unless there's a special request).  One of reading often used in our memorial services is to the left. Deep personal sharing embraces and lifts up families.  We are there caring for each other, filling our souls with memories.

In 1988, Unitarian Universalists passed a national resolution favoring aid in dying for the terminally ill who are suffering, becoming the first religious body to affirm a right to die.
