Teenager Communities - Youth Groups
Education, Exploration, Spiritual Journey, Connections
Come to a community that has religious education for all ages to explore your own beliefs and finding your place in the world - your spiritual journey and life journey and your connections to others.
Some of the things you/they may learn about and explore in religious education classes for youth and in youth groups with the support from trained leaders includes:
- building self-awareness
- making & talking with friends with similar values and principles
- creating religious expression
- working for justice
- sharing significant aspects of teen life
- developing spiritually
- becoming leaders
We also offer a sexuality curriculum, Our Whole Lives (OWL). Our youth have said this is one of the most worthwhile classes they've ever taken.
There are no financial/payment requirements for visitors - come and learn what we're all about.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Parents have said "you saved my child's life" when they were in troubled times by allowing them to share, listening, offering supportive community, encouraging a love of life, and letting them find their own spiritual center. Friendships are often made which last a lifetime.
